Liverpool are currently two points behind the league leaders, Arsenal, while the Blue half of Merseyside lie just 3 points behind the reds at sixth in the Premier League table.

Everton are unbeaten in any of their last four Premier League encounters, with 2 goal-less draws. Everton have already beat one of Premier League’s title contenders, Chelsea in Goodison Park this season, and it’d be a very tough visit for the Reds. Liverpool on the other hand have registered just two defeats so far, with the likes of Arsenal and Southampton, and won against Manchester United in Anfield.

In one of Premier League’s thrilling derbies, Liverpool’s Luis Suarez returns to the squad after end of international breaks, while Roberto Martinez has no fresh injury concerns to deal with.

Everton have been very tight in the back, and as a result, the no. of goal-less draws for the Blue Merseyside side has been maximum for Roberto Martinez’s side.

Liverpool, on the other hand looked sloppy against Arsenal in Emirates, and would look to register their win in Merseyside derby.

Possible Lineups:
Everton: Howard; Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman; Barry, Osman; Mirallas, Barkley, Pienaar; Lukaku

Liverpool: Mignolet; Enrique, Toure, Sakho, Johnson; Gerrard, Lucas; Henderson; Coutinho, Suarez; Sturridge
