Sunday's round up of the top transfer stories from the past 24 hours...

- David Moyes is still hopeful that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Manchester United at some point.

"Everyone at Manchester United would tell you he is the best in the business anyway," he told MUTV.

"I have not been fortunate enough to work with him but there is still hope some day it might be possible."

- Arsene Wenger does not believe Arsenal need to sign a striker in January.

"I think we can win the title without signing a striker," Wenger told reporters.

"[Lukas] Podolski is not back but he shouldn’t be too far now. They make it less critical to sign a striker.

"Look, I am not against it [signing a player in January]. I don’t say I never make a mistake - I certainly made some. Sometimes it is because we didn’t sign the right player.

"It is always difficult in the middle of the season. If somebody is doing well somewhere the clubs do not necessarily want to sell him. They can wait until the end of the season. Most of the time it is because we didn’t find [the right available player]."

- Chelsea are serious about competing with Real Madrid for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao in January, according to the Daily Express.

- Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler has emerged as a target for Manchester United, according to Goal.com.

- Lionel Messi has told TV7 that it would be "impossible" for Dimitar Berbatov to join Barcelona in January following reports linking the Fulham striker with a surprise move to Spain.

- Wolfsburg are interested in signing Kevin De Bruyne on loan in January - providing the deal included an option to buy the Chelsea midfielder at the end of the season.

- Sergio Aguero says he has no intention of leaving Manchester City - despite being linked with Real Madrid.
