Italy striker who couldn't get into Reds' side and is also a sub on loan at Sunderland needs game-time with World Cup looming
Liverpool forward Fabio Borini wants to return to Italian football in January, according to his agent.
The 22-year-old Italy international move to the Reds from Roma in a £10million deal in summer 2012 but failed to establish himself as injuries struck.
He's currently on a season-long loan at Sunderland, but isn't starting matches for them either.
And with next summer's World Cup approaching, he is apparently fed-up with life as a bit-part player.
Agent Marco De Marchi said: "Liverpool own him and in the summer didn't want him to leave, even though the player wants minutes. He dreams of Brazil in 2014 and needs games.
"He's only had a chance at Sunderland after the arrival of Gus Poyet, but it is still insufficient.
