Jose Mourinho may sell three Chelsea stars in January sale
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could sell Kevin de Bruyne, Demba Ba and David Luiz in the January transfer window, according to reports in Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims that the Chelsea trio could be sold to fund a major spending spree in the winter window.
The report suggests Mourinho has targeted three top targets - two strikers and a central defender - although he'd have to sell to at least partially fund the incomings.
And Luiz, Ba and De Bruyne are three Blues players who reportedly face uncertain futures.
De Bruyne began the season in Mourinho's starting lineup after a successful season on loan with Werder Bremen.
But he quickly dropped out of the team, and attracted the ire of the Chelsea boss for his lacklustre performances in training and against Swindon in the Capital One Cup.
He has since been linked with a move to Anderlecht in the January transfer window, with competition for places at Chelsea - especially in the Belgian's attacking midfield position - fierce.
David Luiz was similarly dropped after the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, and has not featured since in matches against West Brom and Schalke.
