Following on from a fantastic October, Jose Mourinho and his Chelsea squad have a real chance to take control of the title race in the next seven games!
We sit two points behind Arsenal at the moment and with a win against Newcastle tomorrow, could go top before Arsenal take on Liverpool tomorrow evening.
In addition to Newcastle tomorrow, Chelsea's next six league games are:
West Brom (Home)
West Ham (Away)
Southampton (Home)
Sunderland (Away)
Stoke (Away)
Crystal Palace (Home)
All winnable games if you ask me and games where you would have to say dropping points would be disappointing (no disrespect to those sides).
It's been games such as some of these above that Chelsea have dropped points in the last two seasons and they will provide a real test for Jose and the squad. You would have to say that now, with the two teams we have available in our squad and the Mourinho back in charge we should be picking up maximum points!
If we can take 21 points from the next seven no matter what anyone else does in the League, we would then take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Monday 23rd of December in a very healthy position, putting pressure on the likes of Man City and Man United.
You can bet your life that Jose Mourinho and has backroom team would see the same opportunity that I do and will be working harder than ever to deliver those important results.
We've had a great October, come on Chelsea give us the run we need to put pressure on everyone and see us clear by Christmas!
