The French champions' midweek 2-0 loss at Evian saw their superb unbeaten run come to a crashing halt.
And with that, their lead at the top of the table over second-placed Lille has been reduced to a point and they are now just two ahead of Monaco. PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic told reporters after the game:

"We played very poorly and were unable to lift ourselves. There's nothing more to say.

"We have to play better in our next game. We hadn't lost for a long time. Maybe this will be a good thing in the long term. We have to stay focused on our objectives."

Manager Laurent Blanc is eager for the defending French champions to get back on track, adding:

"We managed to create some gilt-edged chances in the first half,. In the second, apart from the one for Javier, we didn't create much.”

"We can have some regrets, because in the first half, we could have and should have opened the scoring – that would have allowed us to have a different outcome. But we were too mediocre in the second half to hope for more.”

"ETG were very compact in the first half. They would have had a problem if we'd opened the scoring. At 0-0, they were able to believe they had a chance. Bravo to them."
