Chelsea failed to make up ground on leaders Arsenal as they suffered a last-gasp defeat to Stoke in a five-goal thriller at the Britannia Stadium.

The shock 3-2 defeat sees Jose Mourinho's men slip to third, with Liverpool moving up to second after they thrashed West Ham 4-1 at Anfield and Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Gary Hooper's fifth goal of the season helped send Norwich above West Brom as the Canaries clinched a 2-0 victory at the Hawthorns.

Former Celtic hitman Hooper scored in the 13th minute with a low drive from 18 yards and Leroy Fer sealed the points late on when his shot squirmed under Boaz Myhill.
