In 2012, Juventus signed French midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United, after the youngster turned down a new contract. His lack of first team opportunities at United convinced him to seek a new club.

The Old Lady managed to pick him up for £1.3 million or so in compensation, plus add-ons.

Two years later and Pogba's value has multiplied nearly 23 times, with trasfermarkt.co.uk valuing the 20-year-old at £30 million.

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be lining up an extraordinary €60 million bid, according to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport. In the space of two years, Pogba has gone from the talented youngster Manchester United could afford to lose to the incredible midfielder United can't afford to buy.

In his two years in Turin, Pogba has developed into a key component of Antonio Conte's rampant Juventus team, who are on course for their third successive Serie A title, limiting highly-rated Italian Claudio Marchisio's first team opportunites in the process.

The Frenchman can operate successfully in central midfield, defensive or attacking, and has featured 24 times this term for the Italian side, scoring five and assisting four more in the process.

His high quality passing (83% accuracy) and his eye for a killer through ball have seen him create 28 chances this season for the Old Lady.

As of 2013, the youngster is a full international for France, having represented them seven times. At under 20 level he won the World Cup with France and now has two Supercoppa Italiana trophies and a Serie A title added to his extensive cv.

It's easy to forget he is just 20-years-old, and won the coveted 'Golden Boy' award in 2013- awarded to the best under 21 player in Europe.

He already possesses the shooting technique of an experienced goalscorer, netting several goals from outside the box in his time at Juventus, inlcluding a mouthwatering effort in the demolition of SSC Napoli.
