England Striker Wayne Rooney is about to be signed by Real Madrid. With this Real Madrid have also been added in the race to sign Rooney.
Real Madrid were preparing for signing Sergio Aguero but Rooney was more attainable as compared to Aguero. So, they might be signing Rooney.
Manchester United are willing not to transfer Rooney for more 18 months until the contract comes to an end. But Real Madrid have said that they can bring Rooney in the end of this season
Rooney was unable to commit himself to United. He might be willing to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. This has increased Madrid probability to sign Rooney.
In the Madrid wish list, there are Rooney and Aguero along with Columbian goal scorer Falcao.
Manchester City is not about to send Aguero in this time as per his contract until June 2017. Falcao is still hanging in a long contract. So, most probably Rooney will be the one to be selected by Real Madrid.
Nevertheless, United are also wanting to make Rooney stay long at Old Trafford. They are trying to make a new deal to pay £250,000 per week.
