Paul Scholes feels Manchester United will get back to their best after a tough first season with David Moyes in charge.
Scholes expressed that he does not think Moyes can be blamed for the back luck United have had in his first eight months in the job.
"I don't think the manager can legislate for the amount of injuries he has had to deal with," Scholes told MUTV.
The club legend highlights that Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie's absences through injury have been tough to deal with.
"We've missed Rooney and van Persie for big chunks of the season - they are two of the best centre-forwards in the world and any team would miss them.
"It's been a crazy season for injuries. When we finally got them both back against Stoke, suddenly we had four centre-halves not fit to play."
The Red Devils have had big players missing at both ends of the pitch this season thanks to injury, but their omission to bring in a Scholes-type player during the summer, and January, has concerned fans just as much as 'bad luck'.
Scholes, who managed 107 league goals for United, stated that the club will turn it around and cites a period when he was playing as worse than United's current run, which hit a new low with Sunday's draw at home to basement boys Fulham.
"We'll always come back from bad patches like this. We have been on worse runs.
"I think there was a time that we went three years without winning the league, which was a disaster for a club of this size - this is nothing in comparison."
